We live in a storytelling world. People share stories as their primary way of conveying meaning and context for the things that matter to them. How is your story being told?

Your story is your brand. I created this site because so many unrealized opportunities exist to tell the story of organizations, teams and individuals. To create a personal, resonant and powerful brand identity. To garner support for your interests and priorities by engaging and enrolling your audience in your story.

I love to explore many forms of storytelling. Over twenty years of developing, producing, and distributing video projects. Through print profiles. In the fields of public relations and promotion. The arenas vary but the key element remains constant – a compelling story.

A good story can be told many ways. The challenge is to marry your vision with the practicalities of scheduling, budget, resources  and technical skills. To successfully complete the project on deadline.

Explore the many story examples I have assembled on this site and then contact me to talk about sharing your story to solidify and advance your brand.

Taking Action in Coastal Communities…

A small documentary crew travelled the west coast villages and towns documenting the local effects of loss of fish stocks.  Each village and town became a seperate episode. These episodes were combined into a one hour documentary, ‘Fish Story. BC Coastal Communities Report‘.

This project was awarded ‘The Best Of The West Award of Excellence”  by The Alliance For Community Media in 1997.

This project was a co-production of Rogers Community TV and Simon Fraser University-Continuing Studies In Science.

An 80th birthday at sea…from the hour long documentary, ‘Sea Of Dreams’ produced in 1992.

Denis Cressey was Skipper of McFasttrack.  He guided a crew of  mostly first time blue water sailors and celebrated his 80th birthday during this race.

The crew surprised Denis with a special birthday party off the pacific coast of the U.S.A. enroute to Lahaina, Maui.

Denis sailed the Vic-Maui Race again in the 1994 race and celebrated his 82nd birthday.
